[N,P]EX is a multi-source of bioavailable carbon for marine bacteria like BIODIGEST® and PROBIOTIX and rapidly lowers nitrate and phosphate levels in the marine aquarium.

[N, P] EX can be used as part of a “low nutrients” management of your tank, promotes optimal coloring of your corals in synergy with CORAL COLOR BOOSTER. Requires very good skimming, good oxygenation and compliance with the protocol for use.

The use of [N,P]EX in a marine aquarium is the culmination of an old technique for bringing down the levels of nitrite, nitrate and phosphate present in the water sharply and quickly: the Vodka technique and / or sugar, without the risk of introducing unwanted elements and by multiplying the carbon sources in the right proportions.

The added organic carbon strongly stimulates bacteria and rapidly lowers NO2, NO3 and PO4 levels.

This bacterial surplus will be consumed by the animals in the tank or eliminated via effective skimming.
