API® ALGAEFIX™ Algae Control – Freshwater Aquarium Treatment

Keep your freshwater aquarium cleaner and clearer with API® ALGAEFIX™ Algae Control. It effectively controls various types of algae and helps reduce routine aquarium maintenance.

When used as directed, it is safe for aquarium fish and plants. Regular weekly dosing also helps control the formation of new algae.

Directions for Use

Initial treatment:

• Add 1 ml per 10 gallons of aquarium water, or
• Add 5 ml per 50 gallons of aquarium water

Repeat the dose every 3 days until the algae is under control.

Remove dead algae by siphoning or scraping it from the aquarium.

Maintenance treatment:

Once algae growth is under control, add the recommended dose once per week to help prevent new algae and reduce aquarium maintenance.

Important Caution

• Do not overdose.
• Do not use in aquariums containing freshwater shrimp, crabs, lobsters or other crustaceans.
• For freshwater aquarium use.
• Always follow the instructions on the product label.
