EHEIM aquaCompact C40 / C60 External Canister Filter

The EHEIM aquaCompact C40 / C60 is a space-saving external canister filter designed for small open-top aquariums, nano tanks and planted setups.

Its innovative design combines the convenience of an internal filter with the larger media capacity of an external canister filter. The pump, inlet, prefilter and outlet are mounted inside the aquarium, while the filter canister hangs securely outside the tank.

How It Works

The internal pump draws aquarium water through the integrated prefilter, removing larger debris before sending the water into the external canister. The water then passes through the filter media and returns to the aquarium through the nozzle or spray bar.

This setup provides efficient filtration, good water circulation and longer maintenance intervals without taking up excessive space inside the aquarium.
