AQUATERRA BASIS is our complete substrate for freshwater aquariums, promoting healthy and long-lasting growth of aquatic plants.

It is made up of organic sand, dolomite and charcoal which will provide support and a long-term source of food for the plants.

AQUATERRA BASIS is a substrate for freshwater aquariums which offers an excellent economical yet complete solution for creating a beautiful planted tank.

It is made up of organic sand, dolomite which will provide support and a long-term source of food for the plants. 
It contains "green coal", a 100% French charcoal from the recycling of organic plant matter which aerates the soil, adsorbs undesirable elements and offers excellent bacterial support.
Its action can be boosted by inoculating it with BACTERKIT SOIL bacteria.

Use
Do not rinse.
Place a layer on the bottom of the aquarium (5 to 15 cm), compact lightly by hand then cover with sand, gravel or technical soil.
