BIOCLEAN cleans the freshwater aquarium naturally by combining BIODIGEST and BIOPTIM.
BIODIGEST is composed of natural nitrifying, denitrifying and facultative bacterial strains selected for their ability to transform ammonia into nitrites, nitrites into nitrates and nitrates into nitrogen. These bacteria work as a team, with each strain finishing the work started by others. Some are capable of biosynthesizing denitrifying enzymes under aerobic conditions. This allows very good water purification, a reduction of nitrates, phosphates as well as the prevention of algae proliferation.
They also fight, through a probiotic effect and food competition, against the proliferation of pathogenic organisms and reduce the risk of disease.
BIOPTIM provides all the micro-elements necessary for the life of the aquarium (selected amino acids, enzymes, natural vitamins, a natural surfactant from plants allowing better membrane absorption of components by the cells).
