Seachem Cupramine™ is a highly effective copper treatment designed to control and eliminate a wide range of external fish parasites, including Ich (White Spot Disease), Velvet, and other protozoan infections. Unlike traditional ionic copper medications, Cupramine™ is a buffered, amine-complexed copper treatment that is easier to control and safer for fish when used as directed.

Dosage Instructions

Marine Aquariums

  • Dose 1 mL per 40 L (10.5 US gallons) on Day 1
  • Wait 48 hours
  • Repeat the same dose
  • Final copper concentration: 0.5 mg/L

Freshwater Aquariums

  • Use half the marine dosage
  • Final copper concentration: 0.25 mg/L

Maintain treatment concentration for 14 days. Always test copper levels before redosing.

Important Notes

⚠ Remove all invertebrates before treatment

⚠ Turn off UV sterilizers and remove chemical filtration

⚠ Do not use together with other medications

⚠ Do not use with water conditioners, ammonia detoxifiers, or reducing agents during treatment

⚠ Monitor copper levels with a reliable copper test kit

⚠ Not safe for shrimp, snails, crabs, corals, and other invertebrates
