Purple waffle plant (Hemigraphis Colorata Exotica) is a small & charming houseplant that sports lightly puckered leaves that can be purplish-green, burgundy, or variegated in yellow, pink and white.

The plant can grow about 6 to 8 inches tall and looks terrific in a terrarium or under a glass cloche or bell jar.

To properly care for your purple waffle plant, do make sure the soil never dries out completely. These easy-to-care purple beauties thrive when the soil is slightly moist, but not wet.

Purple waffle plant requires minimal maintenance. If the plants grows a bit tall, just carefully prune them back. Feed the plants with a liquid houseplant fertilizer several times a year to keep them in top form.
